Gps Carrying

I have GPS built into my phone, but how I can access it in TomTom.?
I'm using a Samsung IP-830w Smartphone running WM5.0 with GPS built in. The problem is I can not connect the gps built into the TomTom software i recently installed. I avoid using the Bluetooth receiver, as it is a nuisance remember to take everywhere!
GPS stands for "global positioning" There is nothing specific. You send a signal going to a repeater, which then goes to a satellite and then sent to the appropriate provider and then be transmitted back to another provider, then the repeater and finally back to you. But the information can be anything.
