What is the best shooting position?
From an early age I was taught the Weaver stance and that is mostly the only position I used during the years.its always been what I was more comfortable and in the end i always have a very tight group. He wanted to know if it was the most practical weaver environment.I in a real world application of the law I start the police academy in a few months and I would be ahead of the curve. My father is a veteran of 10 years and 33 marine veterinarian of our local police force and suggest that I stick to a weaver, and yet other opinions. so any help would be appreciated if any some good sites link to instructional video. Also if anyone has attended any recent Georgia POST academy class.let know how she and some useful advice or information.
If people are shooting at you do not worry about standing. If that is their concern he will die. Tactical situations happen so quickly that the first few seconds are just reflections, if they have been trained in the Weaver position, which is going to take. It is not a question of better or worse than other positions, it is a matter of what you are going out of that situation alive.
