Can a Sony B50 satellite receiver or a RCA DTC100 HDTV Satellite receiver is used to receive FTA signals?

I have a satellite receiver Sony B50 access card and a RCA DTC 100 w HDTV satellite receiver with remote, no card and I would be able to convert one or both of them to receive signals from TLC. Is it possible? If not I would like to know which brands TLC are the best, most reliable. I found several on the net, but You can not really see much difference. Perhaps the Coolsat 8000 or Pansat.One with HDTV is preferable. Thanks

Sorry Your current settings does not work for TLC. Several HD FTA receivers are available and Yes Coolsat 8000 is one of them, Pansat is not yet available, but will be soon, the biggest problem with these receptors is the ability blind search. True Blind allows your recipient to explore and find all the transmission frequencies, other FTA receivers will have to manually enter frequencies and you have to rely on a website or other source of that information, so if a wild food as a college basketball game go to 4:02:00 air at 1:00 pm and picked up the receiver until you will be seeing the moment, otherwise it would have to depend on others to tell you that it is. Personally I would wait a bit before getting a FTA HD receiver. If you want real free trade agreement which means that we are not trying to get pay TV services without pay, is a great hobby and will give hours of fun.
