need to replace the rotors on my 2001 Mitsubishi Diamante?

I just found out I really need to replace my front discs and pads for a sound very bad crunch comes from the same mill. I looked at them and they are all pulled up. Those in my car when I bought it might have been updated styles originals were in them, but I'm not sure. The cousin that he vented rotors. First, the rotors can they now become? That means it can be shaved to remove gouges? It would be nice to know if ur doing the work or someone else is. Rotor can be removed and bring it to an auto parts store or shop and have them check the consistency of them and see if you can shave. If so, shave them and put them back on with new pads. If you need new rotors and old with u, then u could just put them side by side and compare the width of the rotors to see if it fits within the clips u have. Am pretty sure it will. Remember that the piston must be rejected when u install new pads and / or rotors, so that the space between the increase in pads.
